Even though she did the ultimate big chop over a year ago, Tamar Braxton continues to let us know that she can turn out a hair lewk. She has also reminded us time and again that her gorgeous round face can pull off pretty much any style.
On Friday, the singer and reality star chose to go with a long platinum textured curl when she hit the AT&T “Dream in Black” stage for an energetic Essence Festival performance in New Orleans.
“This is Essence Festival!” she yelled to the crowd. “It’s all about Black people elevating to the next level.”
Perhaps the hair was a nod to Festival headliner Mary J. Blige, or just Braxton in the mood to go platinum (no pun intended). Either way, she wore it well, and she tossed it even better.
On Saturday, she’s planning on being part of the Camille Rose Pop Up at the Sheraton Hotel during Essence Festival. With their line of hair styling products, it’s looking like it’s going to be another great hair day for Braxton.
